So, I noticed that some people have been reblogging the Legos in soap pin and being all, “BUT IT GETS KIDS TO WASH THEIR HANDS” and “BUT LEGO”. Y’all are missing the point. It’s actually a really cute idea. Hell, if my girls were still little I would probably have done it the minute I saw the pin.
The point is that the pinner states that Legos are for boys and Barbie shoes are for girls. Not, “You could also do Barbie shoes”, leaving out all mention of gender roles. Put whatever the fuck you want in the soap, you don’t need to specify what toys are “for boys” and what toys are “for girls”. They’re just “toys”.

I still can’t figure out if this one is a joke or not. An actual quote from the blog comments: ”With all of my little boys running around, I am especially NOT a fan of naked barbie!”
Um. Barbie does not have nipples. Barbie does not have a hoohah. Barbie just looks like she is wearing a Caucasian unitard. You are not covering anything up, you are just painting her unitard a different color.
This is one of the few times that I will link you to the source. The comments ALONE are priceless, but let’s not hate on this clueless lady. I’m still not convinced she’s not fucking with us. She has to be fucking with us.
